A REPORT ON STUDENT’S FREE LESSONS AND LUNCH BREAK

INTRODUCTION

This report is focusing on how students spend their  free lessons, lunch break and other breaks during school. The purpose of the report is to demonstrate life at gimnazija. It is very interesting, pleasant and full of opportunities for having fun with friends. This report is written by a student of Gimnazija Jesenice for the purpose of ITS.

LUNCH TIME

The cafeteria is located in a basement of Gimnazija Jesenice. The students get an identity card, which is used to log in and get your lunch menu. Students can choose between seven menus: warm meat, warm vegetarien, cold meat, cold vegetarian menu, salad, green fitness and personal diet. Food is served by school chefs Rosa and Suada. Tables are arranged horizontally. A maximum of eight are able to sit at one table. The students clean the tables themselves. They bring plates, trays and food scraps to a suitable place. The price for one snack is only 3$.

FREE TIME

Students usually hang out during lunch break, when they are free for 45 minutes. A few first eat their lunch and then have more than half a hour to socialise with other students.  They are able to do several things in school or outside. In scool, there is a room called E-school. There are sofas, where students are able to sit and spend their free time. Some take a cup of caffe for only 30 cents. In         E-school there are tables too, where the students do their homework. If you are hungry, you are able to go to the nearest bakery called Karavenke 2. Students usually buy doughnout for 50 cents, pizza for 1,3 euros or a salty bun for 40 cents. Several students go in a bar called Theather. They order a cup of coffe for 1 eur, croissant for 60 cents or a toast for 1,6 eur.

CONCLUSION

In my opinion free time is important as students are able to relax. Therefore, I have to compliment the lunch breaks and all activities for students. The lunch break must be 45 minutes long. Free lessons and lunch breaks are perfectly provided in this school.
