REPORT ON SCHOOL TRIP TO VIENNA

Introduction
The purpose of this report is to inform people about the Austria’s capital city in the days
before the christmas and to present the organised school trip. Report will consist of five
main subjects such as organisation, city attractions, food, expenses and personal opinion.
Organisation
Trip started on 6th December when all students gathered at the meeting spot behind the
theatre at 4.45 a.m. The pre-arranged bus drove students through streets of Vienna when
they arrived there at around 10 p.m. When they were done with their city tour they
checked in at the hostel and spent the night there. The next day they continued their city
tour and when they were finally done the bus drove back to Slovenia and arrived at 11
p.m.
City attractions
All of the attractions were shown by the guide. On the first day students were shown a
Schonbrunn Palace, Hofburg Palace, festive market and many more buildings designed by
architects years ago who truly made Vienna look special. On the second day of the tour
they were shown even more interestings spots in Vienna and took a visit to Hundertwasser
buildings.
Food
Students really had a lot of Vienna specialities to try out, and so they did. In their free time
many of them visited reastaurants to taste the world’s famous Wiener Schnitzel or to get
slice of Sachertorte. Vienna offered much more than just their original specialities, some
students visited Chinese or Greek restaurants.
Expenses
Vienna is not so cheap but also not too expensive. Students had enough money to enjoy
themselves and have good meals. The hostel was not expensive and the whole trip did not
cost much.
Personal opinion
In the conclusion, the trip was worth the money. Guide gave an amazing tour throughout
the city and the students had a really good time in Vienna.
