A REPORT ON THE CHARITABLE EVENT; Release the good in you

January 2020

Introduction

This report is written by a Gimnazija Jesenice student with a goal to present the events’ programme, atmosphere and organisation.

Program

The event was organised on January twenty-first at six o’clock in Tone Čufar’s theatre. It was consisted of 17 different performances, which included singing, playing instruments and dancing. Acts were mostly from five to fifteen minutes long.

Atmosphere

The people are there for a good cause, so the atmosphere is good and relaxed. People are polite to each other and remain quite while the actors are doing their thing. Organizers have also made a good job with greeting the visitors.

Organisation

Event was well organised, but some performing actors still had problems with cables and non-working microphones. There were also two presenters who kept the event going smoothly.

Conclusion

The event is a nice way to spend your free afternoon, knowing you are doing something good. I have already recommended it to my friend and family and am hoping to get a chance to collaborate next year.

OUR SCHOOLS’ EVENTS ARE POORLY VISITED, BUT IT DOES NOT MAKE SENCE

Our school organises numerous events, held in Tone Čufar’s theatre every year. Some of them are musical, others contain all sorts of talents. Especially known is the drama festival, which also attracts the most audience. Others not as much and that in my opinion is a shame.

Events are mostly organised in the evenings and last from one to two hours. The entry is always free and at the end of some, there is even a feast. Guests always get a warm welcome. There is no sitting order, so you can seat wherever you want, if the seat is empty of course.

I think that these events would be interesting to almost everybody, no matter which age group they are. Our school even tries so hard to convince more people to come, with all promotion material they make.

Currently, from what I have seen, most of the audience are teachers, parents and some friends, who come to support performing students. There is nothing wrong with that, but I think, if more strangers would come, they would not regret it.
